• It's been a long time....

  Hey everybody!

  Sorry it has been so long since my last blog. I've been keeping pretty busy learning language, having classes, and getting to know many new faces.

  Last week we went to Singapore for a class. It was a nice visit and a very good class. We learned a lot about ethnographic research. We visited "Little India" and "interviewed" people about their culture, family, language, etc. While we were at it we got henna done on our hands.

  I think Singapore is a pretty crazy place. It is super modern with people from many different countries.  Most people living there are not from Singapore originally. It is very different from the island we are living on, and I was glad when we came "home."
